The Washington Opera Hotel can be added to the “Palais Royal” area as a nice address. The reception and lobby are nicely lighted and elegant, with grey pearl and yellowish colours that show the warmth of the place. The rooms are nicely decorated with Directoire styled furniture harmonised with gorgeous beige and red fabrics, and the red marbled bathrooms are more than comfortable.

The upper floor rooms are bigger, and have a Gustavien styled decoration with baldachin beds in a white and bleu ambiance, which comforts the entire hotels atmosphere with elegance and subtlety. The same refinement exists in the underground, with the bar and where breakfast is served. The large sixth floor terrace with a direct view on the theatre “la Comédie Française” and its “Palais Royal gardens” only accentuate the quality and charm of this establishment.
